About Carol

Carol earned a master’s degree in Literacy from the University of Maine and has taught remedial reading in Maine and Connecticut public schools. When she is not writing or teaching, she enjoys hiking, yoga, and visiting friends and family. She loves to spend time by the ocean, which renews and invigorates her spirit.
Carol is the mother of two adult children, a daughter and a son. Tragedy struck in 2018 when her son, a talented writer, unexpectedly passed away, leaving a daughter behind. Carol lives in the Connecticut River Valley with her three cats—Jordan, Peppa, and Kuro. Her daughter and grandson live in Florida.
